VIRTVS [AV]G COS II Virtus seated left on cuirass, holding branch in her right hand and inverted spear in her left; behind to right, shield. BMC -. Bickford-Smith -.Cohen -. RIC -, cf. p. 136, 350 l (for reverse). Triskeles E-Auction 24 (2018), 210 (same dies). An extremely rare hybrid issue with a reverse of Septimius Severus. A few light deposits, otherwise, about very fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
